Iran's Foreign Ministry Strongly Condemns the Country's Disrespectful Behavior and Ridiculous Statements

Iran's Foreign Ministry has condemned U.S. President Donald Trump's remarks regarding the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This was stated in an announcement posted on the official Telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Trump claimed that he personally saved Khamenei from a shameful death and prevented Israel from delivering a final blow to Iran's capital.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran's Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the U.S. President's ridiculous statements and disrespectful behavior towards the Supreme Leader and the people of Iran," the statement read.
