Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry: Processes in Armenia Part of Moscow's Scenario

Despite the unclear victor and vanquished in the Ukraine-Russia war, which has disrupted the international order, it can be said that Russia, completely defeated by the West, is unable to escape the quagmire it has fallen into, spreading dirt across various regions and throwing mud at other nations. This statement was made by Azerbaijani MP Azer Badamov, according to Azerbaijani media.

“They have begun searching for new enemies, creating new wings. Some people, who consider themselves unreachable and invisible, seem to be opening a front before the entire world, hunting for new topics for discussion, taking steps, and making statements to constantly circulate them. Let's start by noting that the attitude towards migrants is not new,” said the MP.

Azer Badamov referred to Russian-Armenian relations stating, “Despite Armenia's extremely treacherous policies towards Russia, Russia's patience and tolerance towards Armenia, which it has never shown towards any other actor, the strengthening of radicalism and revanchism in this country, as well as Russia's support for any loyal servant like Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan, indicate that all processes are part of Moscow's scenario, or merely a part of it. We are witnessing a series of steps to once again turn the South Caucasus into a battlefield. This is why even on the path to achieving this goal, Russia demonstrates a concept of national policy that applies extreme intolerance towards other nations, selective approaches, prejudices, anger, and the most brutal forms of aggression,” the MP added.
