Russia Highlights Preconditions for Peace in Ukraine

To achieve peace in Ukraine, a compromise formula is necessary for both Moscow and Kyiv. This was stated by the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"A compromise formula is required for peace in Ukraine, and the Kyiv regime must accept it," he noted.

According to the political figure, the Ukrainian authorities are currently in no position to negotiate on the conditions for peace.

Konstantinov added that Russia is cautious regarding any potential agreements related to Ukraine and will not allow itself to be deceived.
