Pope Sends Message to Ukraine

Pope Francis has addressed the people of Ukraine on his social media page. “I wish to express my solidarity with the suffering Ukraine, especially with the families mourning the loss of their loved ones. I share your pain in this senseless war,” wrote Pope Francis.

He emphasized that the faith of the Ukrainian people is currently under severe trial. “To believe does not mean to have all the answers but to hope that God is with us and grants us His grace, that He will have the final word, and that life will triumph over death,” he noted.
