Mikael Archbishop Has Been Transferred to Yerevan-Kentron Prison

Mikael Archbishop Ajapahyan has been moved to the isolation unit of the State Security Service (SSS). This was reported by lawyer Yerem Sargsyan to Sputnik Armenia.

"Initially, we thought he had been taken to Nubarashen prison, but we learned a few hours ago that he was moved to the isolation unit of Yerevan-Kentron prison. This facility is used for individuals who need to be kept in more stringent isolation conditions, and since the issue regarding Archbishop Mikael has turned into a matter of life, he was transferred there," the lawyer said.
