Russia Has Been Deceived, Says Vladimir Putin

The security of one country cannot be ensured at the expense of another country's security. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He emphasized that it is not Russia that is aggressive, but the West. “For eight years, Russia has been trying to solve the problems in Donbas peacefully, but the West deceived Russia and began an undeclared war there. The West has encouraged separatism and terrorism on the principle that 'if it's against Russia, then it's all good.' The West intends to rearm Russia using the pretext of its imaginary aggression; let them rearm,” said the Russian president.

According to him, Russia has been deceived about NATO's eastward expansion, but the 'one-sided game' with the West has come to an end.
