Rapid Response Teams of the Human Rights Defender's Office Conduct Visits

Under the direction of the Human Rights Defender, the rapid response teams of the office are conducting visits to the police departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia. The purpose of these visits, scheduled for June 27, is to assess the situation regarding the rights of individuals detained from various locations, as well as to familiarize themselves with the documents prepared about them.

The office of the Human Rights Defender informed Armenpress that the results of the visits will be summarized, and written clarifications will be requested from the relevant state authorities. If necessary, the Human Rights Defender's office will publicly report on the findings.
