Earthquake in Armenia

On June 25, at 21:35 local time (17:35 GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Republic of Armenia recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 1.9. The epicenter was located at a latitude of 40.16⁰ North and a longitude of 45.25⁰ East, approximately 5 km northwest of the city of Martuni in the Gegharkunik Province, at a depth of 10 km.

The intensity of the seismic shock in the epicentral area was 2-3 points. The earthquake was felt in the city of Martuni, as well as in the villages of Lichq and Eranos, with a reported intensity of 2 points.
