Iran's National Security Council Issues Statement

The Iranian National Security Council has issued a statement demanding that "Israel and its allies cease hostilities."

“Following the aggression of the Zionist enemy, the brave and selfless sons of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran responded by agreeing to the directive of the leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Supreme Commander to decisively counter every provocation from the enemy with unprecedented bravery. In the course of these actions, the American Al-Udeid base, and subsequently the entire occupied territories, became targets of missile strikes. The wisdom and relentless efforts of the fighters and wise leadership (of the Leader) resulted in a victory that forced the enemy to regret, admit defeat, and unilaterally cease its aggression,” the statement read.
