On the night of June 24, US President Donald Trump announced that Iran and Israel had agreed to a ceasefire. He stated that the world would celebrate the 'official end of the 12-day war' the following day.

At the same time, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi mentioned that the country has yet to reach any agreement with Israel regarding a ceasefire or military actions. He noted that a final decision regarding this initiative was expected to be made later.
