Over 100 Indian Citizens Evacuated through Armenia, Says Armenian Foreign Ministry

India has evacuated 110 of its citizens from Iran via Armenia. Ani Badalyan, the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, informed Armenpress about the operation.

Earlier, Indian media reported that Indian authorities were planning to evacuate their citizens from Iran due to the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel.

Previously, the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had mentioned that the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and India, Ararat Mirzoyan and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar respectively, discussed the evacuation of Indian students from Iran through Armenia, emphasizing that Armenia has provided support to India in this matter.
