Truck Crashes into Rock and Catches Fire: Ministry of Emergency Situations

On June 16, at 04:27, the Crisis Management Center of the Syunik Regional Rescue Department received information that a traffic accident occurred at the 48th km of the Megrqi-Kajaran highway: a truck crashed into a rock and caught fire. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescue service.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained at 06:15 and completely extinguished by 07:05. The truck, a 'Daf' model loaded with 24 tons of cement, was burnt, but there were no injuries reported.
