Israeli Ambassador in Russia Discusses Purpose of Military Operation

The purpose of Israel's military operation is not to remove the political leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was stated by the Israeli Ambassador to Russia, Simona Galperin.

"There is no intention to change the regime. That is not the goal of this operation," said Galperin in a conversation with reporters.

"Israel does not set deadlines.... We do not impose limits regarding the territories of Iran from which threats arise, or where there are stockpiles that could pose a threat to Israel," Galperin added.

It is noteworthy that on the morning of June 13, Israel struck targets in Iran.
