A single call from Trump could restrain Netanyahu, which may pave the way for diplomacy. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
"If Trump is sincere about diplomacy and is interested in stopping this war, then the next steps logically follow from this," Araqchi wrote on X social media.
The Iranian minister also noted that U.S. involvement in the military conflict between Israel and Iran would destroy any prospects for resolution negotiations.
