Strong Tornado Hits Artik Community

A strong tornado has struck the city of Artik, causing damage based on preliminary assessments in the villages of Mets Mantash, Getap, Arevshat, Nor Kyanq, Anushavan, Horom, and Pemzashen. The tornado has affected the roofs of residential buildings, private homes, public and agricultural structures, as well as greenhouses and electrical transmission lines.

The head of the Artik community, Anan Voskanyan, visited the affected areas with sectoral officials to assess the initial damages. He has instructed the creation of a commission to investigate the preliminary extent of the damages.
