Iranians Were Sheltering and Saving Jews, Says Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman
The spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baqai, has stated that it was the Iranians who were sheltering and saving Jews during World War II, who were forced to flee from Hitler's persecutions.
He also noted that Germany instigated two world wars. Baqai sharply criticized France, condemning Israeli strikes in Iran.
Previously, the leaders of the United Kingdom, Germany, and France expressed their concerns about Iran's nuclear program in a joint statement, reaffirmed Israel's right to self-defense, and called on all parties to refrain from further escalation.
