Accident on Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan Highway: Injured Reported

On June 15, at 08:41, the crisis management center of the regional rescue department in Gegharkunik received an alert about an accident near the "Dzovakgugh" supermarket on the Dilijan-Sevan highway.

A specialized rescue team was dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department. It was established that at the 76th km of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, a "Mitsubishi" vehicle had veered off the roadway and collided with the wall of a nearby warehouse.

Rescuers de-energized the vehicle, closed the gas tank valve, and extricated the driver, who was then transported to an ambulance. Both the driver and a passenger were hospitalized at a medical center.
