Macron Calls on Pezeshkian

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced on the X social network that he recently had a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian. The French politician has urged Pezeshkian to resume negotiations as soon as possible.

"Iran's nuclear program is a serious issue that needs to be addressed through negotiations," he stated. Macron expressed his willingness to assist and do everything possible to reach an agreement that would ease the situation. He also called on the Iranian president to avoid escalating tensions.
