Iran Attempted to Assassinate Trump Twice, Says Netanyahu

Iran has allegedly attempted to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump on two occasions. This claim was made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu congratulated Trump on his birthday and recognized the U.S. armed forces as they celebrate their 250th anniversary. The Prime Minister expressed that during military operations against Iran, Israel is "defending freedom in the Middle East and beyond."

“At this moment, the Iranian regime is bombing our peaceful territories while we are attacking terrorists. This is not new. They have attempted to assassinate President Trump twice. They have bombed American embassies. Iranians have killed and injured thousands of Americans with their homemade explosives in Iraq and Afghanistan. They burn the American flag, chanting endlessly, ‘Death to America,’” stated Netanyahu.
