Evacuation of Foreign Nationals from Iran Being Conducted along Border with Azerbaijan

Evacuation of foreign nationals from Iran is being conducted along the border with Azerbaijan. A number of foreign countries have requested Azerbaijan's assistance in facilitating the return of their citizens from Iran through Azerbaijani territory for subsequent evacuation.

It is reported that the foreigners are being evacuated via the Astara border crossing.
