U.S. Assistance to Israel in Striking Iran Revealed
The United States has provided Israel with precise intelligence data for striking Iran, according to a report by ABC. “The United States has not participated militarily in Israel's assault on Iran, but has provided 'high-precision' intelligence information and will assist in defending Israel if necessary,” the report states.
The television channel also reports that Israel will continue its strikes against Iran, which will be “very intense” in the coming days. Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio assured that Washington had not been directly involved in Israel's attack. He added that the United States had been informed about the actions of the Israeli Defense Forces, which were “necessary” to protect the Jewish state.
On June 13, Israel struck the headquarters of the IRGC in Tehran and significant sites of Iran’s nuclear program. IRGC commander Hossein Salami and several scientists were killed. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the attack targeted Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
