Israeli Army Issues Statement
The Israeli army has announced the completion of the first phase of its operation, which involved strikes on dozens of military, including nuclear facilities located in various parts of Iran. The Israel Defense Forces stated in a release: “Weapons of mass destruction in the hands of the Iranian regime pose a threat to the state of Israel and a significant threat to the entire world. Israel will not allow a regime that seeks to annihilate the Jewish state to possess weapons of mass destruction.”
The Israeli Air Force has reported that dozens of aircraft participated in the mass strikes against various parts of Iran. The strikes were carried out “based on high-quality intelligence aimed at damaging Iran’s nuclear program and in response to the ongoing aggression by the Iranian regime against Israel.”
It is noteworthy that the Israeli army struck Iran overnight. The attack resulted in the death of Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
