Zahharova Responds to Ukraine's Foreign Minister's Statement
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has commented on the dissatisfaction expressed by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha regarding congratulations from global leaders on Russia Day. In her Telegram channel, she stated that a reasonable person would be more upset that their president does not allow the bodies of Ukrainians to be taken for burial.
“A normal person would say that it was 'especially unpleasant' for them to see how their master prohibits the transportation of Ukrainian bodies for proper burial using refrigerated trucks. But no. The joy of others troubles them more than their own sorrow. Gogol was, of course, a genius; he described everything,” wrote Zakharova.
Previously, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha had expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the United States and other countries had congratulated Russia on Russia Day.
