That Does Not Mean the War Will Continue for So Long, Says Zelensky

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced a plan to supply German IRIS-T air defense systems to Kyiv over the next three years, according to the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua.

“We are grateful for the supply of IRIS-T air defense systems; now we understand the delivery program. I won’t go into details, but this is a three-year program, and it is very important support for us in any case,” the Ukrainian leader stated at a joint press conference with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

Zelensky noted that this does not mean that hostilities will continue for that long. However, according to the President, Ukraine still needs high-quality air defense systems for its protection.
