Student Conflict Ends in Stabbing: New Details
New details have emerged from the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the stabbing incident that occurred in the vicinity of Mesrop Mashtots 146 High School in Yerevan. The incident involved two 14-year-old boys. One of the boys is a student at the school, while the other attends a different institution.
The incident took place at the back of the school. Witnesses noticed the injured student running towards the school building. First aid was provided by teachers, including the physical education instructor. Emergency services and police arrived shortly after.
The injured boy sustained a wound to his wrist and has undergone surgery. A criminal case has been initiated at the Investigative Department of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative regions based on the provisions of parts 4 and 8 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Earlier, shamshyan.com reported that a stabbing had occurred at one of the schools in Yerevan. Around 11:55 AM, operational information was received by the Mashtots Division of the Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, indicating that a conflict had taken place at a school in the Ajapnyak administrative district during which a student was stabbed.
