New Alcohol Product Safety Regulations Coming Into Effect

Starting January 1, 2026, the technical regulations on the safety of alcoholic products will come into force. This announcement was made by the State Service for the Safety of Foodstuffs (SATM).

“We remind you that the deadline for the enforcement of the technical regulation 047 on the safety of alcoholic products of the Eurasian Economic Union, established in 2018, has been postponed. According to the decision No. 21 of the EAEU on February 21, 2025, it will come into effect from January 1, 2026, instead of July 1, 2025,” the statement said.
