The impeachment process has long been underway. This was stated by the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, during a conversation with reporters.

“The process will begin when one member of the National Assembly nominates a candidate for Prime Minister,” he said.

In response to the observation that it is necessary to have at least 36 signatures from members of Parliament to bring the issue to the agenda, Serzh Sargsyan replied, “What does 36 have to do with it? We will bring it to the hall when we have 54. What does 36 have to do with it? 36 is an unfortunate number,” he stated.
