Uzbekistan President's Lavish Gifts to All Members of the National Football Team

Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has gifted cars to all players and coaching staff of the Uzbekistan national football team following their last match against Qatar in the Asian qualification round for the 2026 World Cup. The game, held in Tashkent, ended with a 3-0 victory for the hosts.

With one round remaining in the qualifiers, Uzbekistan secured their first-ever ticket to the final tournament of the 2026 World Cup, drawing against the UAE.

At the end of the match, 40 BYD cars were brought onto the field, and the keys were handed over to all players and members of the national team’s coaching staff. Additionally, President Mirziyoyev signed a decree to award honorary titles, medals, and decorations to a number of players and coaches from the national team.
