That area has become a target for Russian troops, Zelensky says
Russia is planning to "capture Odesa" and then reach the borders of Moldova and Romania, announced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit in Odesa. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication "Strana.ua."
“Today we are here in our beautiful city of Odesa. This beautiful city is the target of Russia… Russian military plans indicate this region—Odesa, and then the borders with Moldova and Romania,” Zelensky stated.
On June 10, Kyiv experienced one of the most powerful strikes on its facilities. Besides Kyiv, targets were also attacked in Odesa, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the strike targeted military enterprises and facilities.
