Alen Simonian Discusses Armenian Prisoners Held in Baku with Council of Europe Secretary General

The President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonian, met with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alen Berset.

The discussions between the two focused on the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and issues related to regional stability.

Alen Simonian also drew the attention of the Council of Europe Secretary General to the situation of prisoners in Azerbaijan, individuals being held unlawfully, and those missing.

He expressed gratitude to the Secretary General for his visit to Armenia.
