On the night of June 7, Russia carried out the most massive attack on Kharkiv since 2022 using drones, airstrikes, and missile strikes. Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov reported that at least 3 people have died, and another 20 have been injured, with widespread destruction in the city.

According to regional governor Oleg Synegubov, among the injured are two children, including a one-and-a-half-month-old infant. Strikes on residential buildings and civilian enterprises have been recorded.

Synegubov stated that Russian military forces deployed 48 Shahed-type drones, five guided aerial bombs, four rockets from multiple launch rocket systems, and three missiles in their attack on Kharkiv. The neighborhoods of Kyiv and Osnovyansky in the city have been affected.

One of the drones struck a nine-story residential building, igniting fires in 12 apartments from the 7th to the 9th floors. Rescuers have managed to pull a survivor from the rubble.

Overall, the attack has damaged two apartment buildings, two private houses, two enterprises, two vehicles, an administrative building, and a children's music school.

According to Ukrainian sources, on the night of June 7, Russian forces also targeted Kherson, resulting in at least two deaths and injuries to two others, along with damage to residential high-rise buildings.
