Details Revealed by Food Safety Inspectorate Regarding Flower Import Ban

36 kg of flowers have been returned to Armenia from the Armenian-Georgian border. This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by the RA Food Safety Inspectorate.

"The batch consisted of several types of 11,000 flowers, of which only 700 flowers of one type were returned, weighing 36 kg. According to the importer, the flowers were returned without any explanation or documentation. The remaining 10,300 have crossed the border," the Food Safety Inspectorate stated.

It is noteworthy that Georgia has banned the import of large batches of flowers from Armenia.
