Chechnya Comments on Abduction of Armenian Man in Moscow
The authorities of Chechnya have commented on the abduction of Armenian man Areg Shchepikhin in Moscow. “The criminal Areg Shchepikhin, who has openly and repeatedly called for ethnic cleansing and Nazism, has insulted religion and God, and has expressed clear extremist views, was not abducted but apprehended by law enforcement agencies cooperating with the relevant authorities in Moscow,” said Ahmed Dudayev, Chechnya’s Minister of National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press, and Information.
It is noteworthy that unknown individuals abducted a man at Moscow's Yaroslavsky railway station. A black Mercedes approached the station, from which several men exited, seized the 40-year-old Armenian businessman Areg Shchepikhin, and took him in an unknown direction.
