According to a Turkish diplomatic source cited by RIA Novosti, Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is planning to join the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine taking place at the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul. The meeting is scheduled for today at noon, as stated by Ukraine's Foreign Ministry official representative Georgiy Tikhiy, when the Ukrainian delegation arrived in Istanbul to participate in the second round of talks with Russia.

Earlier, TRT reported that the negotiations will start at 1:00 PM (the same time as Moscow) at the Ciragan Palace, where security measures have been heightened.

It is noteworthy that the previous negotiations were held at the Dolmabahce Palace, where President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has his office.

The Russian delegation arrived in Istanbul the day before, on June 1. The team consists of presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, Deputy Minister Mikhail Galuzin, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Igor Kostyukov, and Deputy Minister of Defense Alexander Fomin.
