Beijing Accuses the USA
Edita
Beijing has accused the United States of violating trade agreements. Chinese authorities believe that the actions of the United States, including new rules on chip export controls and threats to revoke student visas, violate the agreements reached between Washington and Beijing and harm China's interests, according to a report by the Associated Press (AP).
"The United States has unilaterally provoked new economic and trade disputes, deepening the uncertainty and instability of bilateral economic and trade relations," the Chinese Ministry of Commerce stated in an announcement.
"These actions seriously contradict the consensus reached during last month's meeting in Geneva," the document noted.
