Attempt to Set Protesters on Fire in the U.S.

A man in the U.S. shouted "Freedom for Palestine" while throwing bottles filled with flammable liquid at participants of a march supporting Israeli hostages held in Gaza. Six individuals sustained burns.

The suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Sabri Soliman, has been arrested. The FBI, which released the suspect's name, has stated that the incident is being investigated as a terrorist act.

Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfern informed reporters that some of the victims have suffered serious burns and have been hospitalized. The ages of the victims range from 67 to 88 years old.

Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar labeled the incident as a manifestation of "pure anti-Semitism." He expressed his shock over the horrific anti-Semitic terrorism directed at Jews in Boulder, stating on the X social media platform, "This is pure anti-Semitism, fueled by the bloody slanders spread by the media."
