Israel Signs Ceasefire Agreement in Gaza Strip

Israel has signed a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. This was announced by White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt.

Special envoy Steve Whitcoff presented a ceasefire proposal to Hamas, which Israel supported and approved. “Israel signed this proposal before sending it to Hamas. I can also confirm that discussions are ongoing, and we hope for a ceasefire in Gaza so that we can bring all hostages home,” Levitt stated.
