Azerbaijani Goods Will Appear in Our Markets, We Will Live in Peace: Simonian

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonian, wrote on his social media page: "I truly do not understand why my last two statements have annoyed some. I understand why Azerbaijanis are upset that I said Armenians should one day return and live in Baku, but for example, why are some former officials who fled from Artsakh, the cats on top of the rubbish, the supporters with their buses, the well-known prostitutes on Facebook, the drunks, and the former professors from a sick university—the remaining beasts from the Kocharian-Serzh sanctuary—making noise? Why is it that Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh can want to return to their homes one day, while those Armenians who lost their homes from the massacres in Baku or Sumgait do not have that right?

Moreover, regarding trade, it is even more astonishing. Does this mean we should not trade with neither Turkey nor Azerbaijan after ratifying peace? Should we also close the borders on our side? Or are thousands of Armenians currently doing trade in Georgia, Russia, and elsewhere? Many from Artsakh sold not only cognac but also HEC during the recent events. Should I mention names for you to realize the situation? Or do you think we should throw ourselves into a blockade, preventing any transportation through Armenian territory, without goods, gas, or electricity? Should we remain with such proud idiots until there is no one left in Armenia, and no economy? You either are very ignorant, or you are blinded by your own incapacity, or you are simply an agent of an enemy country. In my opinion, all of the above. The good news is that you no longer decide anything in our country and will not decide anything. Armenia and Azerbaijan will live in peace, trade with each other, Azerbaijani goods will appear in our markets, and Armenian goods will appear in their markets, just like before. Armenians and Azerbaijanis will live side by side. Get used to it. There will be no war; there will be peace."
