Avinyan Discusses Tigran Ter-Margaryan's Resignation
Tigran Ter-Margaryan has resigned, and I believe it was a very proportional and commensurate political responsibility. This was stated by the Mayor of Yerevan, addressing the question regarding the resignation of the Nor Nork district mayor.
“Political opponents should first temper their tone because they are expressing themselves in a very dangerous manner, and this leads to such incidents. I have warned all our colleagues that opponents regularly engage in provocations. However, I cannot be responsible for every provocation they make. We must understand what the other side is doing that consistently leads us to such situations. Just one day before the incident, I had said that with such behavior and dangerous provocations, we will not reach a good place. The next day, the provocation happened, and we had that incident, which I deeply regret,” Avinyan noted.
Avinyan also emphasized that violence is unacceptable and that officials must exhibit restraint and not succumb to provocations.
Earlier, it was reported that Tigran Ter-Margaryan, head of the Nor Nork administrative district, is ceasing his powers. We recall that there was a brawl at the Nor Nork district mayor's office between the staff and activist Arthur Chakhoyan.
