Vardan Ghukasyan Accused of Pedophilia: 'Hraparak'

The president of the DOK party, Anuysh Khudaverdyan, stated in an interview with 'Hraparak' that Vardan Ghukasyan is accused of pedophilia.

"I believe that justice will undoubtedly prevail, as the rumors propagated by the RA Prosecutor's Office about Ghukasyan have no relation to reality. Those slanderers will face the consequences of their actions. Ghukasyan is accused of pedophilia. They are so foolish that they don’t understand what kind of pedophilia could exist from the USA to Armenia," she said.

When asked what specific case of pedophilia is being addressed, Khudaverdyan responded, "About two years ago, Vardan Ghukasyan released a video showing how a mother in Gavarr subjected children to sexual violence, filming all of it and sending these videos in exchange for money. After Ghukasyan's report, that woman was arrested. Perhaps Ghukasyan should not have published the video openly and should have blurred the children's faces; that was his only mistake, and now they consider it pedophilia and spread false information."
