Short-Term Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Armenia

Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in various regions of the Republic of Armenia on May 27 after noon, and during the nights and afternoons of May 28-31. In some areas, the rain could be heavy and there is a possibility of hail. This information is provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.

It is noted that during thunderstorms, wind gusts will intensify at speeds of 18-22 m/s. The air temperature will not change significantly.

In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are expected in the evening of May 27, as well as during the nights and evenings of May 28-31, with wind gusts during thunderstorms reaching speeds of 14-17 m/s. On the afternoon of May 27, the temperature in the capital will be between 27-29 degrees Celsius, while in the evening it will drop to +18...+20 degrees.
