Belarus Demonstrates Peacefulness Once Again, Government Says

Belarus has lifted the ban on the import of potatoes, onions, cabbage, and apples from the EU. The government’s statement indicates that this move is a response to the increase in European customs duties on Belarusian agricultural products.

“Belarus once again demonstrates openness, peacefulness, and the principle of friendship by relaxing restrictions that have been imposed on agricultural products from unfriendly countries, similar to the decision on visa-free entry for citizens of several states, including EU countries,” the statement reads.
