That Agenda is Acceptable to Us: Pashinyan

Julya

We want to ensure that Azerbaijan's intention is not to close the conflict situation within its territory and export it to the territory of Armenia. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the second international forum ‘Yerevan Dialogue’.

“We have managed to agree with Azerbaijan on the draft agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the document has been finalized, and we have completed negotiations on the draft. The agenda for the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group is acceptable to us, and we are ready to move forward. However, on the other hand, we want to ensure that both we and Azerbaijan perceive the situation in the same way, and we want to ensure that Azerbaijan's intention is not to close the conflict situation within its territory and export it to Armenia,” Pashinyan stated.

He added: “We propose to sign the peace agreement and simultaneously address the OSCE on the issue of dissolving the Minsk Group's structures. It is a constructive approach to have 2 documents on the table and sign them simultaneously, at the same time, in the same place.”
