A New Cyclone Approaches Armenia: Rainwill Resume
From May 27 to 30, a new cyclone is approaching Armenia, with rain expected during the evening and nighttime hours. This information is reported by the State Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Service.
According to the forecasts published by the center, dry weather is expected in Yerevan on the afternoon of May 26 and during the night of May 27. However, light rain and thunderstorms are predicted for the evening of May 27, as well as during the nights and evenings from May 28 to 31. Winds during the thunderstorms may reach 14-17 m/s.
In the regions, dry weather is also anticipated on the afternoon of May 26 and the night of May 27. After noon on May 27 and again from the night of May 28 to the afternoon of May 31, isolated areas may experience short-term rain and thunderstorms, with possible heavy downpours and even hail in some parts. Winds will be northwesterly at 2-5 m/s, and during thunderstorms, gusts may strengthen to 18-22 m/s. The air temperature is not expected to change significantly.
