The words of U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the necessity to quickly end the bloodshed in Ukraine attract attention and respect. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, as reported by TASS.

According to her, for the first time in 10 years of U.S. history, the country has a leader who has articulated the expression "the radical cause of the crisis." The diplomat pointed out that no previous secretary of state had done this, despite being compensated for studying the history of the conflict.

"Thus, of course, his statements attract attention and respect in the part that pertains to stopping the monstrous bloodshed, which, as he himself said, had begun under the previous administration by naming things for what they are," Zakharova added.
