There Will Be No 'Zangezur Corridor,' Says Iranian Ambassador in Armenia
No issue can be resolved through coercion, and there will be no 'Zangezur corridor.' This was stated by Mehdi Sohbani, the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, in response to a question from a journalist regarding the statements made by Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure about their plans for the so-called 'Zangezur corridor' with Azerbaijan. President Aliyev has also claimed that the 'Zangezur corridor' must be opened, raising concerns about Iran's response if Azerbaijan attempts to take control of this corridor by force.
It is worth noting that Turkey’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, announced that the 'Zangezur corridor' project is expected to be implemented within the next 3-4 years.
