A security buffer zone will be created along the Russia-Ukraine border. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“A decision has been made to establish a security buffer zone along the Russia-Ukraine border. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are currently working on this issue,” said Putin during a videoconference meeting with government officials.
