If It Doesn't Work Out, We'll Leave and Hand Over the Matter to Europe – Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a press conference following a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin that if significant progress is not achieved in resolving the Ukraine conflict, the United States will withdraw and 'hand over the matter' to Europe.

Trump also mentioned that he is not tightening sanctions against Russia so as not to hinder the resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. 'I think there is a possibility of doing something, and if we go that route (expand sanctions), it could make everything much worse,' Trump said.
