NBC News reports this referencing Biden's office. “Last week, President Joe Biden underwent testing following the discovery of a nodule in his prostate after he experienced increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade 5) with bone metastases,” stated a release from the president's personal office.

The statement also noted, “Although this is a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective treatment. The President and his family are discussing treatment options with his doctors.”
