The State Will Not Abandon You: Papoyan to Hail-Damaged Communities

On May 17, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan visited several settlements in the Aragatsotn province to assess the damages caused by a recent hailstorm.

The minister was present in the communities of Aragatsavan and Artani in the Talin municipality, as well as in the villages of Aghdzq and Ohanavan in the Ashtarak municipality. He examined the extent of the damage and discussed the concerns of local gardeners.

Accompanying Gevorg Papoyan were Aragatsotn Governor Sergey Movsisyan, Talin community leader Tavros Sapeiyan, and Ashtarak community leader Tovmas Shahverdyan.

“The purpose of my visit is to personally understand the situation and to discuss with you how we can avoid such issues in the future. I want to assure you that the state will not leave you alone, and the Government has already developed programs to prevent similar situations in the future,” said the minister.
